About Melissa

Hi, my names Melissa and I run Antenatal Classes in Herts. I am a practicing midwife, who qualified in 2005 from the University of Bedfordshire with a First Class Honours degree in Midwifery. I have worked as a midwife in the hospital setting on the antenatal/postnatal wards and delivery suite. I am now currently working in the community setting and am based at a local hospital. I am also a mother myself and understand how daunting pregnancy can be. As a midwife and a mother I feel I have a good understanding of what new parents need to know, the classes I run empower parents-to-be by giving them relevant information thereby enabling them to make informed decisions about their pregnancy, labour and early days with their newborn baby.

Why Attend Antenatal Classes?

Antenatal Classes in Herts focuses on what parents-to-be need to know to prepare them for their forthcoming labour and early days with their newborn baby. The classes are both informative but also fun. People attend antenatal classes to:

"Very helpful and enjoyable session, very useful information given, which will help us a great deal for the preparation for parenthood, thanks again." Mike and Jac 2011

"Great class, very informative, gave us really good advice, very friendly and helpful." Kirsty 2011
